Paid apps coming to Europe in March

By: , 1/4/2010 9:25 am | 0 comments

Palm has had a pretty good hit with the Pre in Europe. Sales have been better than expected (or at least seem that way from the outside). The problem? Their customers on the other side of the pond haven’t been able to purchase apps yet. That means that the sweetsauce that is Paratrooper and Tweed have been unattainable. So sad.

However, that is all about to change! Palm announced on their dev blog that Europeans will be able to take in all the goodies that are on the catalog. This is a big deal not only for consumers, but also developers because this increases the audience for their apps a good bit. Couple that with the imminent release of the Pre and Pixi on Verizon and we are talkin’ a good bump in potential customers.

More customers = more devs = better apps = awesome. Kinda like working with the dark side…only happier.
