When it comes to news apps, it is all about getting me the content quickly and efficiently. Most news apps I have tried are simply ways to get you to external sites. Nothin’ wrong with that, but it slows down the process of consuming the news.
NewsRoom, by Trileet Inc, is simply a joy to use. The UI is easy to use (and a bit fun, but I am dorky that way), and doesn’t get in the way of what is important. Add in some visual polish, and you get a top notch app that gets used just about every day on my Pre.
