"Fan-Made ad for webOS" by ThiesFX

Anyone questioning the fierce loyalty of webOS users should look no further than the awesome submissions to our palmSpot contest, a grassroots ad campaign on behalf of Palm and webOS. Here’s another one, by ardent Palm supporter Heiko Thies, who happens to freelance part-time in motion graphics.  Here is what he posted with his submission to us:

“I got a great kick out of Palm´s latest ad “Life moves fast. Don´t miss a thing.” So I decided to work on a little clip of my own using a similar tracking technique and some other visuals to showcase the webos in my very own way. After seeing that a lot of people shot their own commercials for webOS, I decided to finish my clip in the same fashion of a tv ad and upload it to give back a little love to Palm.”

We’ve got tons of prizes to give away, so keep these excellent entries coming! You guys rock! Deadline is April 16th!

This one was amazing. I vote for this one, even if I make my own and submit it.

Remember guys, there's three categories to choose from, and only one video is allowed to win per category. We're gonna give away an obscene number of prizes with this contest… keep those entries flowing in!

I think that this needs to be posted on the air, and have the author of this video hired to Palm.

    Good luck, and Godspeed.
