Pack ‘n’ Track: Package Tracking Made Easy
Are you an ebay Power Seller (or even occasional seller)? Are you a bit nervous about the mint condition original Luke Skywalker (with yellow lightsaber!) action figure you just sent to George Lucas? Perhaps you just bought your newest gaming rig and want to see the EXACT minute it arrives. Or, you are just a dude who ships from time to time and want to keep track of it.
Even if none of those scenarios fit you, if you are reading this, you probably purchase stuff online regularly. Right now you probably go to the vendor’s site from time to time to see where your goodies are…and chances are, you wish that process was a little bit easier.
If you ship regularly, or even just occasionally, then you will find a lot to like in Pack ‘n’ Track. Whether you prefer FedEx, UPS, USPS, or, for our European friends, DHL, you can track all of your packages with ease with just a few taps.
Let’s say that you just bought a new 73″ inch DLP 1080P 240 hz television. You are stoked! A couple of days later, Joe’s TV Warehouse sends you a precious gift…a tracking number.
Before Pack ‘n’ Track, you would have to find the email, click on the link, and check some box that signs your first born away before you can see where your beloved TV is. Worse than that…you would have to repeat those steps each and every time you checked.
If you had Pack ‘n’ Track you could open that email one time, copy and paste it, then slap it into the app and you will know where your shipment is at any time. You can even set the app up to notify you every time the status of your order changes. Don’t want to be annoyed with each change? You can set it to only notify you when it arrives.
On top of that, there are some cool features that go under the “nice touch” category.
- When you click on the details of an order, you can see where it is anywhere in the world (and where it has been) with a cool little google map.
- Cool little tools
- Zip Code Decoder…put a zip code in, get the city, county, state back
- Zip Code Lookup…put in an address, get the zip (or you can use it to get the zip of your location through GPS)
- Find a shipping location (any of the 4 carriers) based on an address or GPS
If you are interested in the app, but aren’t quite sold, Syntactix has a 7 day trial that is completely free. If you have seen enough and are ready to buy, you can download it straight to your phone for $7.99.
