Support the WebOS Internals Telethon!

So, normally we do not go trolling around other site’s forums to look for things to write about, but we are going to make an exception in this case. We were notified recently about a little movement that is going on in the Precentral forums and we want to help.

Essentially a few people over there have gotten the idea to start a “telethon” to support some of our favorite people: WebOS Internals (aka the makers of Preware). Now we have been big fans of Preware since the beginning, and we tell just about everyone that it is one of the first things they need to add to their Pres. So when we read about a fundraising attempt for these guys, then we just feel like it is something we need to get behind.

So here is the deal. Runukraine over on the PC forums got the idea to raise $1,000 to help out WebOS Internals. The goal is to hit that number by 9pm Eastern, Friday May 14th. They have about somewhere around $250 right now I believe.

I love this idea, so here is how we at WOR are going to help. For every donation of any amount (we hope you can give at least $5), we will donate $1. After you donate, leave us a comment or tweet about it (include how much you donated and @webosroundup) and we will  donate a buck (up to $100). Simple right?

If we all work together, we can send a huge thank you to the Preware devs by blowing away the $1,000 goal.
