Chillin’ with the Palm Summer Tour in San Antonio

The Palm Summer Tour is continuing all across North America until September. They are giving away 10 Palm Pre Plus smartphones a day along with other goodies such as free shirts, cases and lip balm (aka Palm Balm)! This weekend they were in my home town of San Antonia. Sadly it was tough trying to find them. On their Facebook page Palm said they would be in two different areas of the city from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. I first tried to catch up with them at the Quarry, looking around for a good thirty minutes I had no luck. Later on in the day I went to the other area Palm said they would be and knew I had struck gold when I saw a group of people wearing Palm shirts and hats with Palm Pre Plus phones. I quickly found somewhere to park.

The first group I ran into (pictured above) had given everything away, but I did score some free lip balm. They also directed me to some of the other groups that may have more swag. I managed to catch up with four other groups of Palm folks. They were all very nice, especially considering how hot it was outside. One Palm person offered to give me his Palm leather case. I also managed to get a Palm Pixi Pink leather zip case [Ed: Pwetty].  Also after running around from group to group I got a awesome Palm shirt.
