I have just downloaded one of the coolest apps in the entire catalog. Not because it does anything useful, or is a fun game or anything like that. But because it will make even the angriest of times suddenly worthwhile and laughable.
Blobber is a free application by Avner Arbel and Bjeorn Lindberg that is very much a time-waster and smile-maker. What makes it unique and fun are these funny looking blobs that you basically throw around the screen, split up (to make more Blobs), join together (for fewer) and just play around with. Their smiling, happy faces are more than enough to turn any frown upside down.
The app comes with themes, accelerometer settings and the ability to turn on/off animations and not much else. But honestly, what more could you need?
Probably some more sound effects to start, and maybe the ability to add my own images to the background to make it more personal. Other than that, this time-killer is just fun to play around with when your phone withdrawals are too much to handle and you just want something to do.
Best part, it’s free. So get it and be happy.

Blobbers is a great little time waster that only the grumpiest of the grumpy won’t enjoy.
