Prepaid webOS Phones Coming to Verizon

By: , 8/31/2010 3:05 pm | 0 comments

It has been rumored for quite some time that Verizon would be offering both the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus (as well as several other smartphones) on a prepaid plan. Well, it seems that Engadget recently got their hands on some leaked documents that make this look like more than just a rumor. According to this document both the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus will be offered with a $30 a month unlimited data plan on top of  the $45 a month voice plan. So, for the paltry sum of only $75 everyone can have these two great devices on the Verizon network!

This is an extremely enticing offer for those Sprint Palm Pre and Pixi users who have been waiting for over a year for a new device. If your contract with Sprint is up why wouldn’t you grab one of these two devices up contract free from Verizon to tide you over until new webOS hardware is released? Especially when several die hard webOS users have devices that are on their last leg. Several of us here at webOSroundup just might be visiting a Verizon store soon if these “leaked documents” prove to be the real deal.
