App Of The Day: PodSnatcher

By: , 9/23/2010 3:51 pm | 0 comments

When you ask the typical webOS user how they listen to their favorite podcast there is a good chance you will hear them say Stitcher or drPodder. These are both awesome webOS podcast apps for very different reasons. Stitcher is simple and beautiful but seriously lacking in the options department. drPodder is a fan favorite that is stuffed to the hilt with options and is the obvious choice for a big portion of webOS users. Most people seem to forget that there is a third option out there with PodSnatcher by Whavee.

PodSnatcher is gorgeous and easy to use like Stitcher but has most of the features of drPodder. It comes with four featured podcast feeds; one of which is our very own webOSRadio. Adding your favorite podcast feeds is as simple as searching for the name of the show. If you do not care to stream your podcasts it allows you to download them as well. The list of reasons to love this app goes on and on. If you would like a full rundown of all the great stuff this app has to offer please read our review we did a while back. We will say that most of the complaints we had back when the review was done have been improved.

PodSnatcher has rightfully earned App Of The Day for many reasons. Frankly, we are a little puzzled why more people are not using it. So, if you are in the market for a new podcast app go ahead and give it a try. Our guess is that it could become your favorite podcast app.

flattr this!
