I have had the privilege of playing with it in the SDK last night.

Stacks is by far one of the better features. I equate it to the time when browsers could not do tabs. You had windows all over the place, and it was an organization nightmare. You also never realized how helpful having tabs in a single window was until you saw it, then it became an indispensable aspect of your every day life. That is how stacks is!

Stacks are a nice feature, of course. It looks excellent and makes fun to play with it.

But I voted for extended synergy. Because that's the base to extend the PIM capabilites of WebOS devices by 3rd party developers.

I felt the exact same way. I can also see the value in Just Type, but I still feel like the Synergy is where a lot of magic is going to happen. Can't wait to sync with other services (Rackspace, Twitter, BatchBlue, etc…)

I voted for Stacks but I should've voted for Just Type. Although Stacks will make the best multitasking experience on a mobile OS even better, the Just Type's capabilities and applications are just endless.

It reminds me a lot of the Ubiquity project for Firefox.

Stacks is the bes feature for me. Gone are those days when I have to shuffle through so many cards to do what I have to do. I can’t wait :)

I think "the promise of new hardware" should be an option as well. I would be more than happy with webOS 1.4.5 if it was just on competitive hardware with a better form factor and battery life. With that said, you should be able to tell how terribly excited i am at the potential for justtype, exhibition, AND new hardware.

the problem is palm is just not fast enough, i.e. with apple releasing all the recent new gadgets and updates, they need to keep up at least- since they are not exceeding expectations- the 2.0 update should have been out already! Yesterday! or how about NOW! I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't roll out until 2011 LOL

Quick Actions, which are enabled by Just Type, will blow every other webOS 2.0 feature and every other device on every other platform completely out of the water. Quick Actions will change the way we use our devices and make us the envy of every other gadget owner alive.

Banished will be the days of navigating to and tapping the app icon, waiting for it to open, tapping the New Entry icon and then fiddling with text fields to record a new contact or calendar appointment. At most, we'd need an intermediary page to confirm that our input was being interpreted correctly. We'll be done recording the event before the other guy is even ready to start.

Other devices/systems could catch up, but only so much. webOS will always do this so much better because we have the best multitasking: We can enter cardview from literally anywhere on the device, add the contact, and then resume our previous task before others have even started.

I've taken to recording new info in the Notes app first instead of forcing people to wait while I fiddle with my device. With Quick Actions, I won't have to.

I've already seen the commercial in my head. We get the girl (or guy).

I'm excited for what Just Type enables. Could you tell?

I vote for just type ,the main futures of just type is one could punch up to 140-character pithy comment and post it to Twitter without even opening an app.
