Have you won one year’s free mobile service worth $1500? (UPDATE: FINALLY! We have a WINNER!)

One of you lucky little so and so’s could’ve won one year’s free service courtesy of Cloud Genki – however… NO ONE HAS CLAIMED IT YET! Madness… MADNESS, we say!

Folks, this is not — nor has it ever been — a gimmick! Seriously, all you need to do is fire up your ‘One Years Free Service’ app to check to see if you’re the winner. It’s that simple!  We urge you… we BEG you… to do this asap otherwise you could lose out on fifteen hundred bucks and the winnings will be passed on to the next person – and you don’t want that to happen, do you?

UPDATE! Right now Cloud Genki is choosing a winner every few days (if no one claims the prize), so be sure to check in every 3 days or so.

flattr this!

I didn’t get to join, is it too late to sign up to win; seeing how the people that signed up already, don’t seem to want to claim their prize! How about opening it up again?

        Cool, Thanks!

I hope no one checks the app until I win. C’mon ignorance!!

As I said before, as long as unclaimed winners are removed from the pool of potential new winners, we will eventually get to a winner.

Another idea may be to award one extra entry to those who continue to check in (just one extra entry for any number of checkins per 3 day period), that way those who still have the app installed and are still paying attention will be favored. That would also mean those who registered and deleted still have a chance, in case they catch wind that this is legit and ongoing and reinstall the app.

    Nobody will ever win.

    Why you ask?

    1) It is tied to the device ID (the processor) meaning if you upgrade/change devices between now and 100 years from now, you will not be able to claim it
    2) It will not be claimed by anybody because most people have deleted it
    3) They will cycle through probably 99.9% of them before they find the one person who still has the device and is checking it on a daily basis — i.e. nobody will ever win

And when nobody collects the prize, who does it go to? Back to the developers.

I hate to be negative about this app but I still think this is fraud. How is it that no one has checked to see if they won!? I seriously believe the WOR has the money but that the app developer or whoever does the winner selection is not actually picking “real” people. I still have the app installed, and am not saying this because I havent won. But they have picked about 3-4 winners by this time and I find it a bit strange how no one has come forward to claim their prize. I understand that lots of people are deleting this app after the initial winner was picked. Unless the official winner has a full article/post on this site, I wont believe it.

I’m the winner. Yes, i know there are a lot of scams out there but this wasn’t one of them. This was a legit sweepstakes and I received $1,500.00. Thank you CloudGenki and WebOSroundup, you have made me a very happy girl.
