Angry Birds Seasons: Coming to webOS!

By: , 12/3/2010 9:19 am | 10 comments

After yesterday’s news of the impending update to the original Angry Birds game, by way of yet another tweet by Rovio Mobile, it looks pretty clear that Angry Birds Seasons is up an running on a Palm Pre Plus!  The ‘Seasons’ game is a standalone app and includes a Christmas themed game in the style of an advent calendar which unlocks one level a day from 1st to 25th for you to play. We’re also pretty sure the Halloween levels will also be included like they were in the iOS and Android versions.

It’s certainly great news to see this is coming as, up to this point, it was uncertain as to whether this version of the game was going to make it on to webOS at all.  No word on pricing, we don’t anticipate that it’ll be free – although that would make a nice surprise for the holiday season!

The Pixi is capable of running a lot more then what people give it credit for. A pity that as an underused viable product HP is not keying in on this portion of the market. Zsnes or a ported version of Nesticle would be a great thing.

Yea closest we got on the Pixi is Assassins Creed. We won’t see this size screen again so I wouldn’t expect to see much in the coming months. There will be plenty of apps for it, but I don’t see it getting every major release on the 3D front.

Even a 2D old school RPG would satisfy a lot of customers.
