Unfortunately I’ll bet they won’t mention the Pre 2 or any webOS device.

  • Matt

I’ll agree that’s a safe bet, they have no reason to

  • John K.

I don’t think the Pre2 will be around very long. No need to talk about it. Besides that bigred is totally invested in android and soon the iphone. All that will be left is at&t or sprint for webOs.

John HP is a very profitable company which wants market share in the economy. Going that way means they will want to empower the user and give them apps and developers total control. I would like to see a better terminal beyond the crashing optware and perhaps a secondary glimpse into a newer stable x-server from Preware.

Bigred also might have to clean house with their sales terminals and technical personal after the Anna Chapman debacle in New York. I have worked point of sales terminals and they cannot sell to an address of 99 Fake St unless someone altered them. In other words Apple and others may re-think there transition to carriers after that. Sorry, John but since the media tends to ignore or forget this information Verizon really needs to clean house in New York; and focus on finding that hacker and having him tried under grounds of treason!

Agree with John K. The comments about Anna Chapman may be fact based but I struggle to see how they have any clear germane relevance to his point. What exactly is it that you are trying to say, because I don’t understand where you are connecting the dots.

Makes will get frustrated if a hacker works for the Russians and gives them phones. That causes a lack of confidence and in my mind points to someone covering up sales to spies. Chapman got caught; I worked two years cleaning house for a well known company while being offered bribes or commission swaps. Federal and court orders have my tounged tied but makers will not go to carriers if they know someone decides to put international security in harms way.
