Customer Satisfaction for Sprint Up… Verizon Down.

By: , 1/31/2011 1:20 pm | 9 comments

Sprint has been making steady gains in revenue and subscribers over the past year, but without a doubt their gains in customer satisfaction have been the most notable. According to a recent survey by Vocal Laboratories Inc., Sprint has surpassed Verizon as the industry leader in service call satisfaction and first-call resolutions. Customers who reported to being “very satisfied” with Sprint’s service has risen to 71%, while Verizon’s ratings have fallen to 59%. AT&T and T-Mobile continue to languish at 50% and 52%, respectively.

Good for Sprint. I’ve been with them for 4 years. But if AT&T and/or Verizon get WebOS phones, and Sprint doesn’t, I’m gone.

I’m in the same camp as the rest of you. No webOS phones for Sprint…. Buu Bye…

Yeah been with Sprint ten years and no big issues. I will have an issue if they won’t carry a WebOS phone by April.

Been w/ Sprint 10 yrs, myself…not one issue w/ service, customer service, tech support, and they treat me like royalty. Sorry to say fellow webOS’ers…I ain’t leavin’. If I have to I’ll jump ship to Android. Don’t want to, but I’m very comfortable @ Sprint.

I guess that I’m in a great position. I signed up with Sprint last October, got a Pre for myself, one for my oldest son, and one for my wife. This is my first smart phone, and I can be content with using it for the next 18 months. The accessories are all dirt cheap (5 touchstones for $8 ea.) If Sprint doesn’t have a new WebOS phone in 18 months…ya right.

Personally I can’t stand Sprint. Their customer service is the cause. I’ve been out and out lied to, led to pay money that wasn’t necessary, actually listened to a person take my phone that they stole into a store and sell it while I was on the phone with the person giving them the cash, and quoted was quoted incorrectly on due dates countless times causing me disconnections and fees that should have never happened.

All this so they could jack their prices up to match the competitors knowing they don’t have the coverage to match their competitiors service.

I hope their buttholes swell out and slam shut!

I’ve been a Sprint customer for almost 4 years… Had the pre for 1 of them, and honestly can say I will stay with Sprint, even if it means using Android. They have always worked with me on my payments and phones. Customer service is fantastic when you get native english speakers! Their pool of outsourced call centers has seemed to decrease over the years which makes getting issues resolved a breeze.
