Only 2 weeks to go in this month’s Expert of the Month contest!

webOS Q&A is off to a great start. We have a good number of questions out there and close to all of them have been answered in one form or another!

Pretty cool, but we really are just getting started. We have two weeks left until our first monthly contest is complete. This month’s winner will get an easy $25 just for helping people out. In the future we will have all sorts of goodies…cash, accessories, books. All good stuff!

We also wanted to announce that we have created a Q&A specific twitter account (@webosQA). Who and what is this for? It really has two audiences.

First, we hope that as the webOS gurus that you are, when you run into someone new to the community who has questions that you will tell them to pose their questions to @webosQA. We will post the questions to the Q&A site (or they can do it themselves of course), and when the question is answered we will post a link to the answers.

Secondly we hope that the webOS gurus will follow the account to let you all know which questions need your expertise! We also plan to run contests and such specifically for our Twitter followers.

The goal of all of this, of course, is to help newcomers to the platform get the most out of their webOS devices. There are a lot of them coming and we want them to experience how great the community is right from the start.

To wrapup, be sure to comb through the site and help people so you can win the contest! Also, if you have any questions you have been asked recently, please post them so that others can benefit from the community. Finally, don’t forget to follow webosQA!
