Live from HP Think Beyond Event: Palm Pre 3

PALM PRE 3
Remember that “Manta” we heard so much about? We’re pretty sure this was it. We expect this will be the phone that most webOS users will flock to, assuming they take a pass on waiting for HP’s upcoming slab device. It’s a portrait slider phone with a 3.6” LCD screen, with a 800×480 WVGA resolution. To sweeten matters more, HP was quite proud of the phone’s keyboard, touting it as one of the best in the market. It is the largest qwerty keyboard to date on a Palm device. This thing is most definitely leaps and bounds above the first generation hardware, and a good cut above the Palm Pre 2, in our opinion. It also talks with the TouchPad. While on stage a text showed up on both simultaneously! This is all we have for now. We will update with more specs as they become available.
