webOSroundup Developer Spotlight

By: , 4/6/2011 8:38 am | 8 comments

They say it’s all about the apps.  I see it time and time again in the mobile tech media, on forums, Twitter, blogs, magazines and podcasts.  I’m inclined to believe it is mostly true personally, but those apps don’t just appear out of thin air.  They are created by visionary people who spend hours, days, weeks and even months making their creative dreams a reality.

Some of those apps are churned out from mass media development houses or large corporations and franchises.  Those apps are fine, everyone knows about them and likes to use them. webOS however seems to have a unique developer community that is a bit more grass roots based.  That is why webOSroundup is beginning a regular Developer Spotlight feature.

Each issue will feature a developer, their story, apps and ideas. These are the people who will continue to make the webOS community and ecosystem a great experience to be a part of. So if you are a webOS developer who would like to be considered, or you have some favorite developers you would like to learn more about, please send your story, or the developers information to [email protected].  Be watching for our very first feature this week.

flattr this!
