HP TouchPad Q&A: What do YOU want to know about the TouchPad?

Ok friends, we all now the HP TouchPad reviews will be coming from all over the webosphere, and webOS will finally be shown in all of its 9.7 inches of glory come July 1st. If you were lucky enough to have a TouchPad in your hands right now, what would you do first? What burning questions would you like answered? All of us here at WOR would like to know too, so we’re asking the question:

What do YOU want to know about the HP TouchPad?

We’re sure you have many questions floating around in your heads right now, so what are they? Ask away and we will do our best to get answers.  Be sure to leave your questions in the comments so we can keep track of them.

    As is on launch date, will we be able to login with the same profile currently used on a phone and have it download all of our purchased apps, be they mojo, PDK, etc? Or is that coming soon and we have to create a new profile for the time being? I assume the TP can still be doctored like we do with the phones? I also want to know what sort of battery life it achieves with heavy use during a day.  Is webOS 3.0 capable of geolocation to make up for lack of GPS? They show Facebook Places in the new FB app, wondering if it can snatch your location by geolocation through wifi or even through GPS on your phone if paired bluetooth?

     Already heard the Adobe PDF viewer works with pinch and zoom and better than that 1.4.5 viewer http://www.nexave.de/forum/p426985-touchpad-pretest/.html#post426985 , but has it access to all the dropbox, box.net, cloudspace beauty on the Touchpad?

    What is HP going to do for the doctor crowd? We lost epocrates and Lexi-Comp is expensive (especially when the full-epocrates is generally free for students). Any chance we can get an off-line capable version of medscape or a competitor? Or does HP plan their own suite? Or am I going to have to buy a 7″ android tablet just for clinical use (cheaper than getting a lexi-comp license)

    Having had some good time with the ipad and the ipad 2, the things I used the most were:

    -logmein ignition (this works very well)  I need something comparable like rdp
    -How does vpn work?
    -Does citrix work like logmein or rdp or only with certain windows apps?

    -USA today app – would be nice to see – great free app on ipad
    -Facetime – hope skype integration works as well from the get go
    -Threaded email
    -Doc Editing! as in native MS Office docs
    -Reliable pdf support (god the pre app was unstable)

    Anyone know the transfer speeds of the storage drive when connected via USB? 

    I suspect I’d be using this a lot and curious if it is faster then my Pre-?

    How is the Box.net, Dropbox, and online storage and access?   What does it work with besides obviously Docs, PDFs???   Can we view pictures, music, and video stored online?    Any details on the Box.net 50GB free storage option?

    Games…how do the older PDK games work on the TouchPad?   Do they display full screen and how do they look and react?     How are the newer more updated version of games designed for the TouchPad?   Many of the games I already own for my Pre say they are HD version, does this mean the images and content are designed for playback on larger screens?

    Anyone have access to a GPS Bluetooth Receiver?   Would love to know if something like this would work on webOS!

    How’s Google Docs?   All of my email accounts are either hosted on Google Apps or Gmail and I’m just curious how this will work???

    Anyone familiar or know anything about the protecting tablets with Skins, Cases, or otherwise like with the iPad?   Wonder what 3rd products are coming out for the TouchPad???

    I’m sure it was covered already in a question above (i didn’t feel like reading through all 60 new since my last visit), but in all the reviews and videos i’ve seen so far, both here and elsewhere, no one has really discussed how the TP works with an existing Palm Profile / webOS Account…  I would love to know what the “First Use” app is like, what data is “Synergy’d” automatically, what apps were automatically downloaded, etc…

    is it true that search in all synergy calendars is now possible through just type?

    How good is the Flash performance/compatibility in the browser, really?

    I messed with a TouchPad at Best Buy tonight for quite a while and tried loading several flash videos, none of which worked properly (the Russell Brand video from HP’s own website, some 720p videos from YouTube and some HD/non-HD videos from gametrailers.com).

    I am quite disappointed with that, however it was a demo unit so I’m not sure if there are differences.

    I’m interested in having the TouchPad to replace my Sony ereader.  It comes with a Kindle app, but is there an epub and pdf reader app?
