webOS Meetups Coming to a City Near You! [UPDATED]

By: , 8/15/2011 3:40 pm | 15 comments

We have said many times that there is no community like the webOS community and we believe it whole heartedly. But you don’t have to take our word for it, just look around at the webOS community driven and organized events all over the globe. We can’t point you to all of them but would like to make you aware of the ones being announced in our new webOSroundup Forums

August 18th – 6-9:30 p.m. at Applico Inc., New York, NY.  Info Here

August 20th – Noon to 5 p.m. at The Schlafly Tap Room, St. Louis, MO.  Info Here

August 20th – 3-10 p.m. at Seau’s Restaurant, San Diego, CA.  Info Here

August 23rd -  7-9 p.m. at Dan McGuiness Irish Pub, Moore, OK.  Info Here

September 10th – 1-6 p.m. at Courtyard by Marriott, Addison, TX.  Info Here

You can find many more at the meetup.com webOS site.

The best news is that most, if not all of these groups will be meeting on a monthly basis. So come out and get to know some fellow webOS enthusiasts. It doesn’t matter if you are a new fan or an experienced developer, there is a place for everyone. You never know, you might just walk away with some cool webOS swag or amazing webOS gear?

EDIT: For those of you Tweeting and posting in the comments that we need to add your event to the list, the events in the list are the ones listed in the webOS meetups section of our forums. If you add yours there it will be mentioned and added to the map as well. It also has a nice RSVP system for you to use.

flattr this!

WebOS is by far the superior OS although the others are nice. We need to see some old features of Palm OS return like automatic date & time stamps on all messages & calls. It would also be nice to see some of the meetups out in West Texas.
