[UPDATE - all codes used] PromoRoundup – Moon Info HD

The new version of Moon Info HD is now available in the App Catalog. The HD version provides all the functions of Moon Info Pro but with a new layout made especially for the TouchPad.

Available in: English, French, German. Moon Info was written to provide exact calculations of moon phases and lunar details on WebOS. Previous lunar calendars have mostly been inaccurate in comparison with official reports by NASA. Most of the algorithms used for Moon Info were written by Jean Meeus and can calculate results in a matter of seconds. Moon Info calculates and shows moon phases and other details over a period stretching from 1900 to 2100, mostly with a variance of less than one minute. All times are shown in relation to the given time-zone and to Daylight Savings Time. The visible part of the moon is also drawn with intermediate results according the calculated value.

Starting today, @Robopaul is giving away 50 promocodes (use this link directly on the TouchPad) for those with US App Catalog access! You have until September 30th, 2011 to grab one.

The development of Moon Info Pro goes on as well and the next update is expected to contain a calendar integration for the most important data.

UPDATE: Due to issues reported with the link here is the code (although we think the link is fixed now) to use directly in the app catalog.

    Just tried the code and it fails every time.  Not sure if it’s the code or an issue with the app catalog.

    I’ve never see such a huge promo code - believe there is an issue. Promo codes are generally 5 letters-5 numbers-5 letters.

      Sorry for the confusion. The link in the article had a space in it. It is corrected now.

    Yep, promo code (as listed in the original blog post link above) has a space in it that translates as %20 (4bb19721-8015-4b0e-8050-08a%20616069d8b) so it should be 4bb19721-8015-4b0e-8050-08a 616069d8b. It worked fo rme like that anyway – YMMV if codes run out by the time this posts…
