Typing this on my old, beat up Pixi. WebOS ftw. Where do we go from here?

  • Arturo

Pixi user here, too. I love this phone. And I’m also wondering the same here. Where does WebOS go from here?

  • Moderntimes

I have always said, instead of the Veer, they should have beefed up the pixi!!! It’s slimmer than the iPhone, and it has a really nice keyboard. Give it touch to share or something.

Pixi user here too (or 3 or 4). Love the Pixi Plus (on Sprint no doubt). Tricked out w wifi radio and homebrewing for Business no doubt. Love the phone. With a couple of apps finally replaced me 755p (may she rest in peace). A LOT of Pixis out here with the low prices. Let’s gets some more apps backward compatible on 1.4.5. Some dollars tobe made Leo goes and somebody with Vision takes over…

Sprint Pixi +1. It’s almost perfect… Just needs faster processor and more ram.

Too bad we were always neglected by Palm then HP. Awesome little phone though, no doubt. My screen is scratched, volume key went long ago and it even dials random people lol. But the keyboard works just as good as the day Sprint sent it to me. Something Pre users can’t say :)

Doing this on my pre plus from Oz. They never released them here. Also have pixi plus for leisure phone. Hardware was a real problem as you mentioned broken buttons etc. Software good but they forgot to use the fantastic palm os calendar, such a pity & memos not able to be categorised or listed. Too rushed & bad luck with Android arriving despite it being inferior.

My phone is 20 months old and every time it restarts, all my icons get scrambled back to the default layout. Alarm still works! That’s important to me.

I actually have a veer and I really like it. I think most people that reviewed it were still in the mindset of the auto makers, “bigger is better” mentality. I actually switched from an iPhone 3G to my veer and I will not be going back to the iPhone as it feels too big. I am trying to reduce the size of things that I need to take with me everyday and this phone is perfect for that, so is my hpTouchpad, no need for lots of books, everything is on the touchpad as a pdf and I can print if I need a hard copy. Perfect for me! Although I do have to say I wish the pre3 would have come out I would have grabbed one!
