Late last night while most of you were sleeping there was yet another fake app found in the Palm Web Feeds. However, this time instead of some bogus promise of Flash or Opera Mini this fake app was a little something that most of us are familiar with. This was none other than a fake Govnah app but it wasn’t from WebOS Internals! This isn’t the first time we have came across these fake apps but this one kind of stings because it is so close to home. So now these shady outfits are leaching off the names and screen shots of beloved apps from within our homebrew community. The name of this app was Govnah5 and it is from a developer by the name of Hejo Inc. which is obviously not Rod and the gang at WebOS Internals.

This is intended to show some love for the app and is not intended as a review. Last night our friends over at PreCentral received several tips that the 1.4.5 update was rolling in for Verizon users. Finally webOS users outside of the Sprint world could enjoy all the PDK goodness in the Palm App Catalog! Before you all make a mad dash for the update button on your phone this update was only coming in for Pixi Plus users. Why only the Pixi Plus for now? The world may never know!
