Dion Almaer just let the twitterverse know that Palm has just released a new version of the Hot Apps Leaderboard for the PDK competition over at PalmHotApps.com.

The competition has been going on for a little while now, but I know that a lot of devs were holding back their apps until the US started getting the new version. Since it is (finally) starting to roll out to the US, I think you will start to see more apps showing up on the list. So don’t get discouraged because there aren’t many contestants out there yet.

Regardless…lots of room for PDK developers out there to win some big money. Get crackin’ devs!

With the PDK Hot Apps competition in full swing, Palm took the opportunity to announce the winners of the regular Hot Apps Competition.

First, the top winners, who both received $100,000, were:

• Free App: Pandora by Pandora

Congratulations to Syntactix and Pandora. Both very deserving apps. We hope to see you guys take the money and invest in some great new features and apps. If you have not downloaded either of these apps yet, be sure to check them out.
